Default Leaking hatch...help!

hey need a li help here from the CRx owners. well here i am in Sunny Arizona and it deceides to rain today! i went out to may rex after work and noticed that my rear hatch is lettign water into the car.the water is coming from right around the pistion arm areas that hold the hatch open. right where it bolts to the inside of the interior is where it is leaking from.

anyone ever experience this? how did you fix it?

...in the process of taking out my rear interior (no it's not that bad i just dont want it to get ruined after all it's only cardboard) i noticed where water has gotten in there before it settles right under the rear compartment area. i just brought this car afteri wrecekd my Ef hatch so i've only had it about a month or so. i knw it really doesn't rain alot here but i don't want this to be come a problem area in my crx and it lead to bigger problems (aka. rust). any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had that problem, I had all the plastic out from the rear, and put a longer tube in it and ran it out the hole, probably not the best way but it seems to work (haven't driven the car since then)

The rear window washer nozzle gets loose over time, and water gets in there. If not that, its just the weatherstripping. doesnt seal too good after ten years+
