STILL NEED HELP. How to sway the green film from the USDM cluster to JDM cluster
I'm really a newbie to this stuff. but i like the yellow needle from the JDM type R. how can i take the green film from the back and install back to the JDM cluster?
another question, if i get a 98-01 type r cluster, will i still need to take out the green film from the back? or it'll be plug and play?
thanks so much guys
Quincy

Quincy</TD></TR></TABLE> take out bulbs in back of cluster, then unscrew all screws, take off green film, put it onto other cluster, screw in all screws, plug in all bulbs. really easy, if you can't figure out this DIY, then you might wanna consider a new hobby.

There's no film in integra gauge clusters
You just look at the back of the cluster and pull out Three bulbs...from your original cluster...they should have a bluish/green "condom" on them
just put them in your new one

this link should help explain where the bulbs are and what they look like

OK NEVER MIND WHAT I SAID ABOVE...I didnt read the other thread that you have posted...so many people call different parts different things... so anyways...do this....

FORGET the red circles...but do you see the phillips head screw? There should be three screw per guage..
Those are the ones holding your guages in...take out those screws and remove the individual guages....do the same on your old cluster...and them insert the new ones there...forget about messing with the green film...I wouldnt...I changed plenty of guages...just do it this way...
