I have some high res pics if the sunset if anyone is interested.

The sunset was really perfect, one of the best Ive ever seen with the fog rolling into the hills.

The canyon road to get to the point that the pictures were taken is amazing, wide open, hairpins, flowing lefts and rights and anything else you could imagine.

Im gonna do some more exploring in the next few days so stay tuned for some more rural shots.

Thanks for all the comments

I just love how all those twisty scary mountain & canyon roads in California have nothing resembling guardrails, sans maybe sometimes a few white sticks with a cable. But back here in NY, if theres a pot hole theres a 10 foot section of Armco that protects the flora and fauna from you.

When I was a kid I was in a car accident outside of SanDiego in the hills in a 70 VW bug and got rear ended by a drunk driver in a Bronco and almost pushed us off one of those nifty non protected cliffs. The impact actually popped the rear window out of the bug and landed it on the road and it didn't even break!

But, your pics look nice...

I few of the turns got a little crazy, definetaly a road that requires full attention, ( no radio, no talking or sight seeing). I few of the drops off the side were pretty crazy with no guard rail what so ever. Kind of a hassle to go on this particular road due to the transition for paved to dirt to paved to dirt.

Im gonna go out this weekend and try to find another fun one...we will see what happens.

BTW: your story sounds freaky.

well think about how big cali is, and how many twisty roads there are.

on the highways that are 2 lane, there are some guard rails though

If some really wants my car that bad... then it will be gone and there is nothing I can do about it, hows it different from someone driving down the road and writing my plates down?

Your language is rediculous, nor does it help me at all.

Thanks for the advice tough guy

good luck to you. too bad you have a car and have no respect for it.

i guess you dont see the point.. plastering it here in an open forum just makes your car , location, with your plates etc a billboard for thieves.. but im not going to get into it with you. you obvious could really careless about it .. even though it was a recent purchase.

buy what do i know right??
