Hello everyone,

New to this forum..I did a search on any issues that anyone might be having on this and found some answers but all of them sounded like people weren't really sure so I would like to ask again.

Everytime I put my foot on the brake it slowly settles down to the floor and I have to let go of it to build pressure again. Anyone know what is the cause and want can I do to try and fix it?

Sounds like a bad master cylinder. The pedal sinks slowly & smoothly to the floor, & it happens more often when it's hot. If you're not losing brake fluid, the MC is the only place where it can leak back into the reservoir.

You can try bleeding your brakes, maybe it'll help. Most likely that won't fix it permanently.

I had the exact same problem, and a rebuilt OEM MC from AutoZone fixed it right up.
