I'd check http://www.kbb.com and offer below what it's worth. Mods on the car do not increase the value because more than likely the car has been abused in some way. Hell, the tranny is being rebuilt which says something.

What he said.

I would put the stock stuff back on and sell the aftermarket parts separately too.

I wouldn't buy a modded car if I didn't personally know the owner and car.

You can get some money for the mods if you sell to the right person. But if you go through a bank then you wont get much more than its worth, unless the seller gets a loan for what the cars worth and gives you extra. = longshot.

Try to return it to stock and you should be able to get 12K for it. If it has a clean title and low miles

I myself wouldnt buy a car with mods on it either, but I do know there people who would. You would get less then blue book value if you trade it in with aftermarket parts on the car, but if you sold it yourself you could probly get someone to pay more than what its worth if the car is clean and everything is done properly, and not ghetto riged.
If I was in your position I would probly try selling it as is for around blue book maybe more for a little bit. Then if it didnt seem to work put the oem stuff back on and sell it or trade it in.

they do hold their value well.

I'd say $12K in good condition with clean title. I'd lose the power mods and the guages. nothing says "abused" like aftermarket guages.

i see a lot of people on http://www.craigslist.com sell their integra for WAY more than blue book, like a 96 integra for like 7000 even though its worth way less because they ahve aftermarket parts on it, i saw a guy with a 96 gsr selling for 13k!!!only cause it had like a 4 thousand dollar paint job, and at my school some dumb **** bought an automatic 96 accord for 11g's because it was peach adn had a greddy evo!
