I hope this is the right forum, I tried posting in the misc appearance forum, but I can't start a new thread. Mods if need be please move.


I just installed my newly aquired Real deal off teh JDM boat mirrors. they look amazing, But here is the interesting part. I was driving to school yesterday, and I noticed that when I looked in my drivers side mirror. the cars looked like it was right up my ***. then I realized what it was. the convex mirror(correct me this term if I'm worng) thats on the passenger side of our cars, is on the right on Japanses cars. So now I'm driving with a passenger mirror on my drivers side and a drivers mirror on my passenger side.

So, is my new purchase "the ****" or is it just ****?

 

cant u just swap out the mirror peice with the correct ones

 

I don't know, I would assume I can. that sort of the reason I posted. I'm afraid if I try to change the glass I'd brake it and not be able to use them.

 

just get use to it. I tried to change glass out before and just ended up breaking the mirror's mechanical parts

Ha kinda shitty, all that money for a JDM Bling part, and it takes away from function....no bueno in my book

 

Same issue I have with mine. But you can replace the mirrors with the glass from the USDM integras. Same ****.

 

honestly both of my mirrors are busted... havent used them in a year or so. its not hard to get used to looking over your shoulder, but it is kind a pain in the ***.
