Anyone know if the fake J-s racing intake AKA whale ***** will fit on a 89 Si Hatch? Still has the D16a6 in it.

No, you have to move the battery its very easy.

 

i was thinking about getting one but i was looking at the prop vavle.. looks like it's in the way

cuz it looks like one,dont ask how i know.

 

you have to relocate the batterey to the rear to get the whale ***** to fit in the the engine bay

 

They look awesome and you can get them for 70 bucks shipped from http://dragracing.com/product....&s=16. Planning on replacing my CAI for one.

they are just really loud. Someone did a dyno plot with the real J's the fake J's and like 3 other intakes. Both the J's were less than the normal CAI's, but you do get better throttle repsonse

 

heres the link the fake j's was not that bad. i think if you roughed up the inside you would see alittle more of a gain.
