i'm planning to roll untune for more then a year, but i will be using a chipped s2 ecu, is it a good idea or should i not do it and save up.

 

Tune them!!! Definately get some Cam Gears if you haven't already, and get some type of Fuel Tuning device like Hondata or VAFC and go Tune it on a Dyno. It'll make your car run SOOO much better and stronger. Not only will your car run reliable, it'll give you the most potential power gain with the cams after you tune.

 

problem is i got money to put them on just not tune them after they are on.

 

I'm sure you can come up with $150 bucks for an hour of Dyno tuning. Those cams might even make your car run worse if they're untuned. I had Skunk2 Stage 1 cams in my car, and it ran like **** before I tuned them.

After it was tuned, it ran like a whole new different car.

 

Tune it yourself. A little track time on grudge night and knowing what you are doing goes a long way.

 

I can burn you a chip. just tell me the mods you got. If you dont tune then you will have serious problems. I just put stage 2's in my car and it died a whole bunch a times before i tuned it
