Default Water gushing out of RAD cap

We swapped the head, since the last one was cracked...
runs ok now..

I took the rad cap off to make sure that there was enough water in it after the thermostat opened up, and created a gieser...so I filled it back up with some water and let the engine run and it pushed more of out out of cap..

Its never been like that with my CRX any ideas?

It can just be an old radiator cap. After a couple of years, the seals on the cap aren't any good so you need to replace it.

when its over heated I understand that it will spray out..
but after it was refilled and turned back on it kept pushing more fluid out..

and the fan had not turned on yet, when I have done this with any other car the coolant did not gush out like it did...

My cap's at least 14 years old and it hasn't gone bad yet.
