Default Taillights, instrument lights all went out, checked fuse plz help

Ok, i started my car, turned my lights on, and then my guage lights went out, my climate control went out, and my taillights went out. I checked the fuse and it was blown, so i popped another one in. Turned the car back on, and walllaaahh, the damn fuse blew again. I was wondering is anyone knew which wires i would have to check of this problem. Im guessing it has to do with one of the wires in the center of dash where the head unit is, somewhere back there, since i installed my head unit again today, and this problem had happened to me before, but just blew the fuse and the replaced it and everything was a-ok. But this is different because the fuse just keeps blowing. TIA

What happens when you disconnect the radio harness? Does it still blow a fuse?

I've had the same problem for a few days now.
Lemme know if you fix it...

I am replacing the fuse box itself next weekend.

Did you cut the factory harness and connect the radio wires to that? If you could take a digi pic it would help.

sorry, i have no cam , but yes, it is cut of course i didnt cut it, the damn wire technician (sarcasm) who owned the car before me did. Yes i did wire everything up correctly, i still had my stock radio in my garage, and it on the bottom of it, it explains the wires, and i looked on my other hatch that i used to have, and figured it all out.

Well..I seemed to have fixed it. Don't ask me how. I simply don't know.

I took just about EVERYTHING apart that was even remotely connected to this circuit.
Dashboard,
heater controls,
trunk light,
right rear/brake light,
corner lights

Turns out that a nice chunk of wire had melted behind the fuse box. Replaced it. Fuses still popped.
One of my corner lights was not grounded properly, feed line touching chassis.
Fixed it. Fuses kept popping.

Replaced fuse box. No effect.

Took everything apart. Yelled, shouted, cursed, kicked the tire. Problem solved.

I'm really concerned that it's gonna start all over again, because I have no clue what the problem was. But for now...knock on wood.

if you have a amp check the ground connection by sanding where you bolted the wire to the frame cause my kept blowing so i sanded it and it fixed it

When it happened to me it was my rear defogger switch that was bad... There is a lot of stuff on that same cercuit as youve found out, just check the switchs for each... All I had to do was unplug the defogger and everything worked again...

When this happened to me I just jiggled all my bulb connections, weird but it worked when I was on the side of the road.
