I'm not 100% sure what I'm looking at in the picture. But in my experience the crimp on and screw mash type battery connectors are just a matter of time before failure. If you can't buy a replacement oem cable, or you can't find one at a local salvage yard or Ebay. The only option I've seen work for an extended period of time, is the solder on battery terminal ends. They come with a slug of solder. You heat the new terminal up, drop the solder slug into the terminal. When the solder melts, carefully push the car's wire into the molten solder. ( I would search YouTube for video examples.) Because you don't want to go too fast, spraying out molten solder all over yourself. You also don't want to go too slow allowing the solder to solidify before you get the wire fully seated into the end. ALSO, FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS GOOD. Don't move the wire in the solder once you press it into the terminal end. Hold it as still as possible until the solder solidifies. If you move the wire, it creates a cold solder joint that is susceptible to hair line crack that get corrosion in them, and will eventually fail. You will need gloves that protect your hand against heat. Also don't forget to put the shrink tube insulation on before you solder the wire.

Don't use this kind, which will do exactly what this picture shows in a very short period of time.

I've never used this option, but it looks like it could stand up to daily use.

I recommend oem, but this is the second best option I've found. These two below pictures are solder on battery terminal ends.

These are various size slugs of solder that you put into the above pictured battery terminal ends.

The terminals I've seen at my local Autoparts store come with the slugs of solder, and they don't need to be purchased separately. I don't know what your local automotive parts store has though.
