Default 94 Accord Wagon f22b1 rebuild

Alright. You may have seen multiple posts with 1 or 2 questions from me, getting me to where I am now. My neighbor is rebuilding my f22b1 and I am trying to get a little more power while the motor is out.

I plan on purchasing a Delta Camshaft re-ground camshaft, f23 intake manifold, Denso RDX 410cc injectors and get it all to work together. I will look into throttle body replacements as soon as everything is together. I'm worried everything won't go together as easily as others who have done these mods said theirs did. I also plan on doing header (soon) and full exhaust (down the road), but want to get everything that isn't accessible when the motor is back in, addressed now. My motor is stock now other than intake and I have a stage 2 clutch and 11 pound flywheel ready to go in. I know I will need/want tuning ability, but don't know what I'm doing.

So with my f22b1, an f23 intake manifold, f22b1 head ported to fit manifold, aggressive cam and Denso RDX injectors (w/ obd 1 injectors), what do I need to make it work? Do I use f23 or f22 fuel rail? Am I missing anything (for the basics I am trying to accomplish)? I have been looking at a cam gear as well, but thats another thing that can be done after we get the internal stuff ironed out. I have mentioned I don't know much about chipping or tuning and have always shyed away from it. Would something like this be enough for a tuner to make the few mods I have planned run well and get more power from them?: OBD1 Honda Vtec ECU with Neptune RTP | eBay

If you haven't read any of my recent posts, let me give you some back ground. I am stubborn. I want to keep my motor and I do not want an H22 or to turbo my f22. This car is my every-other-daily but I am comfortable with low/stiff Koni/Groundcontrol. I am also comfortable driving my Integra every other day with a stage 2 clutch, 10.8 fly wheel, straight pipe from cat back to Magnaflow muffler, header and intake. I really appreciate all the help, info and advice I've received so far and hope you guys can help me have everything my neighbor will need to rebuild it with these parts.

Those 410 injectors might be a little much if you are not boosted.

You could look at doing a balance shaft delete. Having the motor out you can do it properly. Does the same good as your lightweight flywheel...less rotational mass.

@jollyhonda doesn't the car shake more, and run rougher without balance shaft? Did you do this?

I just did a motor swap, not an overhaul, so I just removed the belt. I have a very slight vibration at idle, but I am also chasing a possible IACV issue and maybe a vacuum leak. I only had the car running formlike 3 days before leaving on vacation so I didn't have time to iron everything out yet. I also have a front motor mount that is complete garbage and needs replaced, but still dont have any ecxessive vibration inside the car.

Well this build got scaled down quite a bit. Went with the Delta Camshaft 260 regrind and DC sports ceramic header. Both my original cam and header needed to be replaced and Delta happened to have a 260 grind on the shelf. I had planned to go a lot more extreme and modify a lot more, but this probably makes more sense for me. The guy at Delta says I don't need a tune for this cam, but we will see how it runs when my neighbor gets everything put back together. I don't know if it would be silly to mod/chip/tune ecu with as little as I have done to it or not. I have read somewhere it idles rough if you don't get a tune. Complete mod list is: short-ram intake, DC header, Delta 260 cam, XTR stage 2 clutch/ 11 lbs fly wheel. You think tuning will be necessary and/or beneficial?
