I can't wait to see that! B20 + JRSC in a EG hatch...
One of these days...

Yeah I wasn't sure about the 24mm bar up front so I may end up swapping it to something smaller once I get some seat time and see how the car handles

I did see a couple on there right now. Getting one is not in the budget right now unfortunately
Well good news and bad news...
My ITR front sway bar and control arms arrived yesterday. However, the LCAs they sent are for the rear instead of the front
I'm super busy at work right now and don't have a lot of time to work on the car anyway so its not a huge hurry but just a little disappointing that now I have to hassle with getting those exchanged. Unfortunately I probably won't get much time on the car until closer to spring time so there may not be much progress until then. However, I should be finalizing a significant promotion at work this week or next so hopefully that means more parts and ultimately more progress this spring/summer. Stay tuned!
At least let them know so they can work it out. The sooner the better so they don't feel suspicious. People are way easier to work with when they confirm the shipped date and notice when you sent the email. They'll know right away what needs to be done.

So it’s been a little while since I’ve had anything to post but I finally have a few updates. As the weather improves, things will be picking up with the car. The promotion I mentioned before is finally official so I’ll have a little more disposable income to put towards the car!
I got the issue with the lower control arms resolved with HMotors. They actually sent me the front control arms and let me keep the rear ITR arms so if anyone needs a set of ITR rear LCAs, let me know.
I have continued to accumulate parts over the last few weeks. Most recently I got a replacement tailgate. The one on my car is rusted around the license plate lights and I found one on ebay that is rust free. In the past couple weeks I also got new rear hatch struts and hardware, front wheel bearings and wheel hubs, and new rear trailing arm and LCA bushings.
My immediate plans are to strip down the front knuckles and install new wheel bearings, hubs, and ball joints. Once that is done, I’ll be able to install the front suspension and get the car rolling. Then I’ll focus my attention on the engine bay refresh so I can get the motor and trans back in the car soon.
So glad I decided to impulsively click on this thread. I can seriously relate to your desire to clean and organize everything. Amazing build so far man, I really hope you see this one through. I just got an '08 Si sedan and it feels good to be back in a Honda (had a DA Integra in high school) after being in a bunch of other cars. I would like to get an older Honda one day and do a build similar to yours. This is a huge inspiration!

Thanks! I really appreciate the kind words. It's easy to feel like giving up on these things when you go weeks without any progress. It's these kind of comments that provide the motivation to keep it going though. Hoping to have more consistent progress in the coming weeks.
On another note, has anyone used the Duplicolor Perfect Match Milano Red spray paint? How well does it match? My original plan was to paint the car myself using Rustoleum but now I think I'm going to end up having the car professionally repainted. I am still going to repaint the bay myself so I want to get as close as I can. If the Duplicolor isn't a good option, I can have NAPA put Milano Red in spray cans for me. I did that with my Integra with good results.
Finally got out and got a little work done today. Finished stripping down the front spindles. Next I'll put on a coat of black paint, install new wheel bearings, ball joints and new hubs.
It's finally that time of the year where the weather improves, my work schedule loosens up and I can finally get out and get some work done on the car. This weekend I finished refreshing the front knuckles. They are painted and I installed new lower ball joints and pressed in new wheel bearings and hubs.
I got the knuckles back on the car too and finally got it rolling again. I pushed it outside so I could change brake rotors and pads on my wife's Forester. What I thought was going to be a quick job turned into something much more time consuming after two of the caliper bracket bolts snapped... but that's another story.
Now that I have the front suspension back together, I can focus all my effort on prepping the engine bay. I need to finish pulling out the brake components and then I can clean/de-grease everything and prep for paint. Feels good to finally make a little progress after seeing the car sit for so long.
Looks to be coming along nicely! You should do a brake upgrade while you're at it. I did the mini/itr front upgrade on my integra a few months ago and it is phenomenal. I'm probably going to do the rear too, eventually. https://propartsusa.com/collections/...ke-upgrade-kit

I've been debating what to do with the brake setup. I was thinking about leaving the front stock for now and getting scarebird brackets/discs on the rear. I figured it would be a good lightweight setup and be enough stopping power for a stock B20
You really can't beat the proparts front package. Less than 200 bucks for much bigger/stronger front brakes....
The proparts rear kit, seems overpriced for less gain, but I may do that too, eventually.

Do I need to change the prop valve or master cylinder if I go with that kit?

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm when changing out rear drum for disc, I believe you need to change the master and maybe the proportioning valve, but on an si/ex/integra with 4 wheel discs, you don't.
I can tell you for a fact on my 2000 Integra GS, I do not need to touch the master cylinder or prop valve and the braking is phenomenal (even with just stock rear and the front ctec/low dust kit).
I could only imagine how much better the high spec stop tech kits, front and rear would be. (Probably ridiculous on a street car lol).

That's what I was thinking. The VX was a disc/drum car originally. I actually have a spare 40/40 prop valve laying around. I think I need to do a little more research on brake setups before I decide for sure what I want to do.

Too funny. I was looking for a set of rear LCAs tapped for rear sway bar back in January. Now that my exhaust is dragging out so long, I could have waited...
