Put my s2000 lip molding on the front lip and assembled the wing while watching the race end. Don’t mind the random tables they are being sold... I hope

Calling it for the day. The sideskirt is just loosely on for the photo it has a mark in the middle I am having the painter fix. He also forgot to do my bumper plugs and the passenger door molding has gunk on it ugh. So I’ll drop those off tomorrow and have to wait some more

Luckily I still have plenty to do like put the windows in and start on the interior.

Oh and brakes all around, camber kits all before my alignment on Wednesday.

Let’s see where to start. Car was supposed to get aligned Wednesday so I was installing the camber kits on Tuesday. Turns out my kit was missing a front ball joint piece so that whole thing was scrapped until I get the hardware in. Spot the missing piece.

So I installed all 3 I could and moved on to the interior. Got the new shift boot and **** installed as well as all 4 new speakers and relocated the head unit. The interior needs a real deep cleaning after paint it’s got dust and junk everywhere! Full detail is coming soon once I get the brakes and alignment sorted.

This weekend I’ve got an out of town basketball tournament so I’ll have to wait until Monday to mess with it more. Can’t wait to install these brakes now! Driving the 17’ R vs this makes the brakes feel like bicycle brakes lol.

I really like that lip molding for some reason, makes it pop! Block off plate looks clean, I dig it.

I think that is why I like it too. Had seen a few people do it and really liked it. Think it does define everything more.

Grimace, I'm assuming the molding isn't JUST for the s2000 lip right? Could it be used on other lips?

Yea it’s just an s2000 part number if looking. I could take a photo of the stuff but it’ll mount on just about any lip perfectly. Just as long as the angle is right where it sticks on the lip to the bumper.

I think it's already pictured above. So did you use it on the rear as well? it looks similar to the front.

How does the lip molding go on? Is it 3M double sided tape or does it just slide on?

It’s adhesive. You can see the removable red film in the picture.

It doesnt adhere using magic.

Got the correct parts for the camber kit in. Installed all 4 corners now and have an appointment Wednesday to get it aligned and the ad08s put on.

Before this saturday I still need to:
install wilwood front BBK
install ITR rear disc brake kit
bleed brakes
bleed clutch (feels meh did it solo with clutch job)
Wash/ wax exterior
shampoo/ detail interior
Re-weigh it (not needed but want to see how much weight it’s lost)
Register it (not needed but it is up at the end of the month)

If I get all that done I can attend the second local autocross of the year as a shakedown before the first local track day at Thunderhill the next weekend. :D

oo

Can you wax so soon after paint? I thought it needs to cure first?

You gonna detail those wheel wells?
