Re: 2000 Civic Hatchback ek9 replica/ restomod
Picked up the trailing arms last night looking brand new and fancy, clocked the RTA bushings as well for a lowered car all set for rear discs! Crazy idea on a swap too, someone is doing the 17+ CTR motor but why not just a 16+ 1.5T motor?
@Hasport anything in the works for mounts to do this? 1.5T into an EG/DC or EK? Motor and transmission can be had for less than $3,000 seems the hardest part would be the wiring and mounts. Could see this being a cheap popular swap though?

Because why go through the hassle of putting in that motor when you can put in a K series and end up with the same HP?

Pretty much, it'd be cool to try with a tune you're at like 230whp and 280tq but the tires would just spin so whats it matter in the end. never getting that tq and MPG from a K series though.
I think I need to go K series
