i'm a pretty busy person but i just want to throw this out there:

i'm available if any brands need an ambassador. i'll have to check with my lawyers but it's not likely there will be any conflicts of interest.

i have more than 30 followers on twitter now so i'm kind of a big deal. i probably have an instagram too

i'm available for track day appearances like this with a few days prior notice and all expenses paid.

2019 proposals already tentatively agreed by teams:
- 80kg min driver weight
- restrict bargeboard aero to improve sponsor visibility
- further reduce exhaust location and min angle to prevent blowing rear wing

2019 proposals to improve passing that Brawn is trying to push through before 4/30 deadline:
- simplify front wing - specifically around how it shapes airflow over front tyre (current FIA research suggests this is the main source of turbulence that hinders the following car)
- bigger DRS flap

Would underbody tunnels that produce the majority of the car's downforce work?

I say limit the amount of winglets or front wing elements each team can have.

yes but they're at the limit of what you can safely do with the bottom of the car now. i predicted that the larger diffuser for '17 would cause more accidents and i was wrong thankfully. as you get more downforce from the bottom of the car then the loss of downforce becomes more dramatic when the chassis gets upset.

I don't want to say that's an overblown risk, but I think that's an overblown risk.

There are so many mitigations these days to reduce that risk probability compared to the laissez faire 70s/80s. The most significant IMO are the tracks. They're wide, smooth, and most of the scary things to significantly upset the cars are removed.

Not that I agree that underbody aero is the solution to the problem anymore (would like to see data kthx), but I think we can get away from the flat floors safely (within reason).
