Not me, the glass guy lol. If all goes well I'll only be in for $100 removal/install. If it breaks, only $80 more.

Picking up some Type R shift linkage at work this week, with factory dual bend and ****. My linkage has seen better days and my k-tuned shifter will be up for sale shortly. The weather is starting to get nicer, so I think it's time to start prepping for quarter panel replacement, too.

nice! I’m starting to think I may not get a chance to replace my driver’s side quarter before the car comes out for good weather this year. A lot of the work is taking longer than I expected. We shall see, i’m also nervous about cutting and grinding metal near the filler neck and gas tank lol

I replaced both quarters on my old eg hatch, nothing to worry about near the filler neck unless you're actively leaking fuel lol.

Is that the ITR linkage? I was thinking about getting the k-tuned shifter, but decided to put it off. Did you like it?

Yea, that's ITR linkage. I really liked the K-Tuned shifter, it's just so easy to setup and play with. I messed around with mine for the longest time before I found a height and angle that I liked.

Old pic of my setup. Finally settled on this after a bunch of trial and error.

Nice, I like that. I've been wanting something taller and positioned closer to my hand. 5th gear is a big reach for me when driving which gets annoying.

Hopefully I don't have the same problem with the new shifter lol. Guess we'll see.

What was the issue? Because I'm between the k-tuned and picking up a double bend shifter with an extension.

New shifter feels great, and no trouble reaching fifth lol. I'll post up some pics later today. I'm also considering losing the Mugen 4-1 and grabbing a 5Zigen 4-2-1 that we have here at the shop. I'm not on a track all day and I'd like to go lower, but I can't with a monster 4-1 under the car. Whatcha guys think?

I have the JDM Type r 4-1 on my car, its been on there for years and years and i honestly regret not going with the 4-2-1 to keep the decent mid-range and low end power. I completely destroyed a dc sports 4-1 back in the day when i was on tanabe drop springs when i hit a pothole, 4-1's make navigation a bit trickier lol

That's honestly been my line of thought, too. Mine is a little beat up because of pot holes and speed bumps. I might see if Aaron can sell the Mugen for me lol.

+1 on the 4-2-1. Unless you're at constant high RPMs, I feel like it's the way to go. It's nice retaining mid-range power. My Miata had the same issue when I went the 4-1 direction.

Glad to hear the shifter was worth it!

I also snagged a clock delete, but somehow only lost that picture when I had to do a factory reset on my home yesterday lol.

To be more specific, it's actually blue carbon, which was only offered in the Type Rx and the DC1 single cam ZC Integras.

I feel like the longer you work at jdmohio, you will eventually need to change the title to your build thread to "sort of jdm integra build", then to "a lot of jdm integra build" then ultimately to "so JDM yO build" lol

Oh that's pretty! You gonna swap out the odometer so your miles stay current? It is pretty easy to do on the Civics.
