Hunter-Reay and Alonso were both on more aggressive tunes which is why both engines failed right around the same time.

 

Who makes that choice? Honda? The car owner? The driver?

 

Yeah I knew Petrov was running in the 24 which is why I'm hoping it happens.

In the beginning I did. I tried to help him out here and there, but he just doesn't listen. After about 3 months, I gave up and told him not to ask me about the car or talk about it with me. He whines about the condition of the car all the time, which of course leads to back handed comments about how I maintained the car lol.

I learned the hard way on this one. We are still friends, but I avoid all car talk with him now.

HELL NO! lol. Sold it to him for what I felt it was worth, not a penny less. I did let him make payments tho, and I kept the title until he was done.

I've been team Fred since 2004. I was in Spain that summer and the local kid was doin it up real good for 3rd place. The Renault v BAR battle was also lit that year.

No, never have been, but he was a driver of note for being in F1 at 19.

The only drivers I rooted for vs Schumacher were Montoya and Zanardi - but the latter was rather hopeless. Still a legend doe - completely bananas in CART, which during his time there was really a more entertaining series than F1.

 

The team owner made the decision for both drivers. It was a PR/media decision that ended up failing miserably.

 

JPM/Zanardi were a mega combo to root for.

hopefully they just give us Sky and not some ESPN crap.. We all speak the same language here - no reason to have a dumbed down US based coverage.

 

Sky Sports doesn' have commercials during the race so they'll have to do some hybrid broadcast at a minimum.
