Refresh of 94 Civic Si w/ ABS after accident

Got some of these as well. My old ones are definitely a mess. Can't wait to get some time to spend on my hatch. I did some reading and it sounds like you can leave the RTAs on the car and press these out...
You can, but it's not overly difficult to remove the RTAs. I found it easier to remove mine and press the old ones out and the new ones in. Then again, I have a lift and a press...
They knock out with a 2lb brass hammer. Most of the time you can simply knock the new ones in. Sometimes the fit is too tight. You can tell if that is the case if your old one is cone shaped. If it is, simply knock the old bushing back in until you can get it pressed.
...and then replace the LCAs,
...so I can then mount up the EX sway bar,
...then I can finally replace the Aero Turbine w/ the A'PEXi WS2!
Be prepared for more squeaking.
When I replaced all of my bushings some squeaked even if I clocked them, preloaded them and torque to spec, all that jizz.
Only thing weird was that this only happened on the Suja1 bushings and not the hardrace bushings, Suja1 sent me the correct bushings for the front but by the time they got here I had already put in new hardracing bushings. So yeah I have front lca bushings to sell.

I have KYB AGX shock absorbers on the car now, I think with factory springs.
Am I understanding things correctly that the purpose of a true coilover is for lowering the vehicle? So if I do not want to lower my machine, I can just replace old KYBs with a new shock absorber? (Or possibly new springs if I can find a non-lowering spring replacement)

And by that I mean that the project car is hidden behind a pile of construction debris from my bathroom remodel. Now that I'm ~ done, I can order a bagster style dumpster and, hopefully, the city inspectors will be none the wiser. Seriously, though. The car isn't visible when I open my garage door. Two layers of drywall, two floors, and some of the warped studs came out out. Plus all the packing material of everything I bought. I must have carried out 30 bags each between 30 and 50 lbs. What a mess.

Thanks. When I went back and read it sounds like some of the RTA bushings (OEM) have slightly different ODs?
Cars gonna be very well planted on the ground once you're done. Just don't go taking sharp turns thinking your in the original tron.
The point of my post was that not all trailing arms have a hole the same size. Some have a tighter fit than others. I have the original trailing arms on my 89 CRX Si and one was MUCH tighter than the other. When I removed the original 1989 bushings, one was cone shaped because the trailing arm being overly tight re-shaped into a cone. Getting the new bushing in was a nightmare in that case. I'm pretty sure it's rare but it can happen.
As far as I'm aware there are only two different OD's. The regular size, and the oversized for the DA Integras.

The only love the Honda got was I went under the back and put Kroil on everything I thought I would have to loosen to change the LCAs and RTA bushings.
I did get my calipers on the old and new RTA bushings, they look to be very close in size.

Works well for cleaning grease and oil off your hands, it just gives you cancer over time haha
