Verbal Update: Scored some DB8 Rear seats Christmas Eve. I'll update once installed. I couldn't take the road noise cruising, I may need to replace the RR bearing again, but the seat was to cheap to pass up.

Now I just need to sell some wheels to buy Brice's SE's
Should be a direct bolt on but you have to figure out the locking system. The latch is welded on the frame of the rear seat.

Well congrats to you guys on both the house and the Baptism. Good to see some more faces around, I wish NWP withstood the storm of social media.

Tony, it may be a bolt on for the 99-00's. For me ( 96-98), so far, I've removed the rear seat bracket and instead of cutting off the center tab on the DB8 rear I added a slit into my rear seat frame. I also removed the lower seat bracket that allowed the 60/40 split previously to make room for the new full rear of the DB8 upper. I'll have pics by the weekend.

No they are the same as the 96-98. I've never done it but like I said another guy did in the civic section. Looks nice though once done. Just need to figure out how to lock it.

For the LA-ANA-SD folks, are there any neat shops to visit? Doesn't have to be car stuff.

Petersen museum. It’s car related AND super sweet.

Happy New Year all. Hopefully 2018 sucks less than 2017.

Evasive motorsports in santa fe springs is a nice shop to visit and they always have great cars hanging around.

Nemos garage in ontario is a small shop but they carry many brands and have a few cars in the back worth checking out.

Not for the JDM rears sir. I'm having a whole different experience that what you've mentioned.

I get asked that often, my engine was clean the day I bought it. I did further enhance it by cleaning it with some industrial cleaner/ degreaser. Oddly enough my motor was really clean when I purchased it.

As for my back seats, I found some foam the wife was trashing and sliced it up. 2in sections. Which later made its way into 1in strips. In the photo you can see the raised edges, i have yet to sort those brackets.

Horrible. It's supposed to be "track kah" but driving it on the streets, a back seat really reduces NVH. LOL thanks ninja!

Well when you said db8 I was thinking the usdm integra's. But man, if I didn't get these 40/60 splits for cheap I would've done that. Probably wouldn't match my fa5's though.

Went to Chuckwalla Valley Raceway this past Saturday. Got there at 4pm just in time for 1 session. I got out of my daily civic to grab a ViP armband (im good friends with the event organizers) and jumped into my brother's mild evo 8 MR and set a lap of 1:59.83 missing the fastest time of the weekend by just 0.14 seconds set by a Porsche cup car i believe.
Party'd til midnight then went back home lol
sorry no decent pics of the car i tracked but it looks like any other evo out there with gawdy body kit and some aero

Well I got rear ended yesterday on I-4. The kid was on his phone when he hit me but thankfully we were going slow and just dented the rear bump and chipped some paint off it. I popped out the dent on the rear bumper just going to leave it how it is. I just finished getting the interior cleaned on Monday lol.

That stretch of road is always a distracted driving nightmare. I think I notice it more now that I only have to drive on it a handful of times per year. Glad you and your car are relatively okay.

Yea I'm tired of driving on I-4 to and from work each day. I'll probably look for a new shell later on down the road. I'm not a fan of the green and tan interior combo lol.
