** The offical 96-00 civic 4dr thread ** PART 3
OEM. I noticed that the integra type r steering wheel had a nice dark grey to it. Kinda strange because I thought they had black interior.
Well it's been a while since I've updated my sedan. A lot has happened with life in general and the car. A few family members and friends passed away. I sold the built LS back in June with hopes of going K-series, but the "donor car" I bought wasn't what I thought it was. I put the K idea on the back burner and purchased a minty fresh B20 a month later to get the car back on the road.
It was fun to be behind the wheel of this car again. However, shortly after getting the car up and running last month I hit another snag. I was in a minor front end collision. This changed the dynamics of what's next for a short while. I was unsure of what to do with the sedan. I recently had traded some parts that I never got around to installing. That weighed heavy in my decision. After rekindling some road racing dreams, a few conversations with friends and the passing of time, I decided to keep it, as well as fix it myself. It wasn't a money thing as I didn't get much, but it would be enough. I took the task as more of an ownership-pride thing. I'll share some images chronologically of it all, as best I can. Enjoy.

Also yes, I have a full size dc2 radiator and AC condensor. Car has full amenities, including cruise, but I have to wire that up to a steering wheel/alternate switch location.
Indeed Brice. I'm sort of glad looking back. I like the OEM fenders and tight fitting bumper look more. It was fun to dabble w/ the TL fenders and be wild for a moment; but I like the car now. Overtime I'll clean it all up, paint, moldings, etc.
No kidding. The more I try to finish up something else, this car reels me right back in. The good news is, I love the car more now.
The new ( to me ) seats, I received in a trade for a pair NT03s. The bumper lance donated previously. The bride low rails I got from EKTeddy, BNIB were trade +100, and I haven't looked back on either deal since. Now, I LOVE SIR interior, but a recaro is the best oem seat mod you can ever do.
Car is looking good Joel. Those Recaro's look awesome in it too.
Sucks to hear about the accident, looks like you came back harder though.

AGREED!
Everything happens for a reason man. It sucks but I enjoy the new her a bit more. Thank You!
If anyone wants my old TL fenders they are for 96-98 civic, I'll give them dibs. I'll be asking 400 and If you're a local sedaner, I'll help with the install.

Looking good Joel....sucks to see you had to get rid of the killer front end look but at least car is back in action.
Verbal Update: Scored some DB8 Rear seats Christmas Eve. I'll update once installed. I couldn't take the road noise cruising, I may need to replace the RR bearing again, but the seat was to cheap to pass up.
Now I just need to sell some wheels to buy Brice's SE's

Thanks Sammy! How are you brotha? It's been a while! I was planning on going with a less aggressive offset anyway. Just so happens that the collision forced my hand to do it sooner. I still have the lip and bumper. I'll be saving those for track days.

I've been checking out HT a bit more past few weeks.
