Eaton m62 supercharged 97 accord rebuild
Pulley is on and after a trip to my local Napa auto parts, we have a snug belt. Turns out the pulley is 2.65" with a stock 7 inch crank pulley. I fear for the blowers life at this point. IAT's at cruise went up by 5 degrees, which is of no concern due to the giant intercooler keeping things nice. I did a few pulls tonight and have already ran into an issue. Time for a walbro 255 pump upgrade. With the AFC maxed and the 440cc injectors I can't get better than a 12.5-13 AFR at wide open throttle. The damn thing makes 12psi of boost at 3k rpm instantaneously. 2nd gear is completely useless with these tires. This is a giant change in how the car drives part throttle as well. I softened the BOV to vent faster and more at idle and cruising speeds. I found myself keeping the car around 2000rpms and 5-7% value from TPS. Super pleased so far with that. I might install the Vortech FMU and set to 2:1 to compensate until new pump arrives to keep things safe. I will for sure take a video tomorrow and post if it doesn't blow up tonight. It feels like 100 shot the moment you put the hammer down.
