Default Question regarding oil sandwich plate

Wondering what can be done regarding a sandwich plate installed in oil filter's place, seeing as it's passing unfiltered oil through the feed for a turbo. Anything such as an alternative or idea to avoid doing that?

Regards.

PS repost because I guess I posted in the wrong subforum.

Very simple. An inline oil filter feed to the turbocharger.

Woodward machine, Earl's, and B&R Fittings are the best sources to find them. About $40-$50 you will pay

Forced Performance makes a really neat inline product for your turbo feed line. They have AN fittings on both ends, has a cleanable/replaceable cone filter screen.

the golden eagle plate filters before sending to turbo, its the only brand that does this...never a bad idea to do what shodan said but at the very least when using a sandwhich plate use golden eagle

STC also has a full kit with the filter and restrictors/lines available for JB and BB turbos.

Turbosmart has also released inline -3 or -4 filters. Turbonetics has a 1/8npt screw in oil filter available. GE is the only prefiltered oil sandwich plate.

Once again, my brain is losing it You still need a union fitting to work with it, and it's a pleated disk (like the Earl's Filter) instead of the more efficient "bucket" filtration system but it is also a fine option.

-3AN & -4AN male-to-male Union 44 Micron

-4AN to -4AN ORB male 44 Micron

Vibrant makes an inline oil/fuel filter as well. They come in -3, -4, -6, and -8. They also come with 3 different screens, 30, 80, and 150 micron.
