Took a caliper off so I can roll the car. I found out the LX has a rod knock, or it would if it ran anyway.

Friday swapped out axles w/ newer reman units from NAPA, the old ones were clicking when turning. No more clicking.
... but, pass side axle looked to be stretched when installed, and the car was pulling right on acceleration. Took it off and put the old one back on. Clicking is back. So, at least I know which axle its coming from now.
NAPA took back the axle and I should have a new one to try in a few days.
I've gotten pretty good at removing installing axles now though!
These 6 wires come out of the engine harness by the passenger/right shock tower. 2 for CYP, 2 for reverse lights, and the last 2 are for Injectors 2 and 4. I'll be using a 6-pin connector to connect these wires to the chassis harness.
Ordered a new 8-pin round distributor connector to match the MPFI distributor from Monotech. The new CYP wires are shielded inside the harness.
I'm using OBD1 injectors, so no need for a resistor box, but I wired the harness for one, in case I use peak & hold injectors at some point in the future. Also made a jumper connector.
Just thought this engine serial number was pretty cool. I'm just using this engine to mock up the wiring.
Not really wrenching on the EF but I did finally pick up a reliable DD. Frees me of the worry that I need to get things done in less than 24 hours so I can make it to work. Time to start hunting for my MPFI parts, and when the cash is there, a DOHC ZC

why would you put the reverse light wires on the passenger side shock tower plugs? On a dpfi set up (body harness) it's on the driver side. That's creating a problem for yourself.
Finally uninstalled that Speedfactory Tucked Radiator and replaced it with my old trusty full size Fluidyne and 12" HD Mishimoto fan. Won't have any more cooling issues.
Replaced my front bumper with an aftermarket 88-89 and added an ebay lip. I'd love a chargespeed, but I'm not down to spend $400.
Mounted some Hoosier SM7 and Federal FZ-201 in preparation for this saturday's event at Grange.

Car was an auto originally, so there was no existing reverse light wiring going through the firewall. I didn't realize that on 5-speeds it came through the driver's side. Oh well, what's done is done.

Do you have a link for this lip on eBay, was it easy enough to install or did it need mods?
