Default Vtec cam plates/"pipe" holder

So, I picked up a B17 and have been going over it and cleaning it up.

it came with the head off.. and upon examining the head the plates that hold the cams down were fucked up by whoever took it apart.

the exhaust side seems warped..
a bolt was stuck in each

the dowels where the bolts are stuck are fucked.

Apparently these are $100Us each or so..!

what to do? Is the warpage bad? I assume so since the manual shows a torquing order..but seems like torquing it right could flatten it? The dowels could prob be repaired..

ask around if anyone has an extra one laying around. I tossed a set back in July- they had laying around for years. I know I am not the only person like that here.

Yeah, you can drum up a used set or remove the damaged dowels and insert some replacement ones.

Ya I was more worried about the war page than the dowels.
