Hi owners and no, please help me
1) 4gen bronze not true bronze like gold? I love bronze on 1 gen, last foto in topic think **** bronze...
I also like Charcoal.
2) I want buy pair for front and use with 225 45 rs-3 want kind of width take 8 or 9 ? for track, timeattack, rarely city.
The 4th gen bronze is 100% a gold. I have it and I love it, but it is way different then the previous bronze. A new color is coming out that looks awesome. Forget what it's called..
I don't have any track experience, but for that tire size, 15x8's would be great, in my option. I feel like 15x9 would take extreme fender mods in an ef.
Bringing this one back form the dead... for a question that some will probably find laughable
Any of you guys getting away with keeping your front fender liners with the 8", on a 96-00 body? Zooming in on Bon's picture it looks like it, but I'm hoping to hear some experience.
Its actually a good question. That really depend on how low you dropped the car and what your spring rate is for the front. With 2 finger gaps and 9k springs it won't touch the fender liners.

You know, you bring up a good point and I could have asked the question better. The 8" width doesn't have a lot to do with it for me, it's the offset. I'll be coming from a 6" +45 to a +36, so I'll be moving the outer edge of the tire out 9mm. I mocked it up with washers at both ends, but obviously I'm not going to go try and drive around like that to check clearance dynamically. How much roll and bump you have ultimately has a good bit to do with it. 9k is a decently stiff front end, what front bar, if any, are you running with that?

Haven't been on here lately, sucks having a crappy internet connection lol.. Oh and you're right spAdam I'm still running front fender liners, I hate driving without them so I set up the ride height conservatively to keep the fender liners. And like what wenlyone said it depends on how low you set up your ride height, mine I would say about 2 finger gap between the edge of the tire to fender. though sometimes it rubs a little bit depending on how big of a dip you're going through plus it maybe because I always adjust my dampening to soft when I'm daily driving. Oh and that's also with a 5mm spacer.
Finally ponied up and got a set for my old beater.
Took a little bit of work to get them on, went out in the canyons the next day, then off to Sonoma for work.
The inner lip hit the rear uca's just a tiny bit and were uncomfortably close to the tape weights, so I had to reshape them a bit.
Quick hit on the rears with the roller...
I was a little concerned that the rears were going to poke a little bit as I just don't care for that look on my cars. Fortunately they ended up about as perfectly even as they could get.
The finished product, half a week and a few hundred miles later:
