Re: Road Racing / Autocross / Time Attack Picture Post!!!
Hey folks! Yet another hillclimb video! Had a hell of a weekend battling with an RX7 and a 944 (former 944 Cup champ, at that) this weekend. Battled literally until the last run of the day yesterday when I managed to come away with the class win and new record. I beat the old record by ~2 seconds, but all 3 of us had the new class record at some point during the weekend. Just nutty.

Few pictures from our last race weekend, I run the Delsol and a buddy Runs the white civic Nicknamed Elvic. We built it for ChumpCar Canada, but they never came to Atlantic Motorsports park in Nova Scotia. So we put a B16 in it and its been running like a seasoned car. Not a hiccup so far from the Car. Myself and the Blue BMW had a great race, I just couldn't find a way past his HP, but had a lot of fun trying.

One of the Salesmen at work brought this in the other day for me to check out because I had told him that I went to Laguna in June. Photograph that he took in early 1980. Pretty cool to see that the corkscrew back in the day.

A couple shots and video of myself at the Gimli Motorsports Park in MB Canada last weekend. It's my first year racing, and I'm still dialing the car in, but it's a good bit of fun.

Depends quite a bit on the track and how long the race is but 2 hours is the goal because I am pretty sure a driver can't be in the car for longer than that.

This should be my last hillclimb post of the year. I wouldn't say I drove bad this weekend, but I'd certainly say mediocre. Still was an amazing weekend. Weatherly is a great hill, the weather was fantastic, and I did TNiA on Monday after the hillclimb.
My fastest from TNiA @ Pocono Raceway (with a little extra in the beginning of a dummy in a Vette). Taking it kind of easy. That configuration is VERY fast and hard on the car.

Ran an event at Grange Motor Circuit on 09-16-17 with RaceFreely. One of the competitors snapped a ton of pics of everyone's cars. Always a great time there with those guys because it's a small event and track time is virtually unlimited.
Had to ditch the front bumper due to overheating issues. Running no bumper helped, but I'm still going to get rid of this cooling setup.

Hers my new favorite Picture of there Car lol. Last race weekend had a really good Race with a well put together E30. Set my own personally best racing and Took back the Fastest FWD lap record at our track from my Boss. Previouse best was a 1:15.0. took that down to a 1:14.4. Ill try and post that race at some point. Basically had to push each other to slip up. Switched the lead a few times. I managed to come out ahead. Even had the chance to take my Mom out for a victory lap for fun.

In car from my time trial at Club Motorsports a couple weeks ago. The track just opened about 5 weeks ago, it has a long way to go in terms of flagging, safety and facilities, but it was a lot of fun to drive. Looking forward to finding a few more seconds out there next season; I had only 15 or so laps prior to the time trial (as a driver, I instructed 7 sessions also), so I think I can drop a few seconds with a little work.
The car is SO much nicer with an alignment, now. The tires were toed all over the place when I brought it into the shop, now I'm consistent left to right, and I have the camber even also. Big difference!
