Pretty crazy 2018 Pagoda Hillclimb. There were many "incidents" over the weekend due to rainy conditions, and even after the rain the road was often slippery. An E Prod Neon ACR flipped on its roof and skid down the road at one point. Driver was fine, car is done. I was the only person in Super Touring L, so yeah I was first in class BUT I also set the class record once I got a couple dry runs.

Here's a few picture of me co-drive a S2000 at an 9 hours endurance event with AER( American Endurance Racing series). This was at NJMP few months ago. It's was a down pour on that day but very scary and fun at the same time.

For the s2000, were you stock tank or fuel cell? How long could you stay out?

It was a stock tank. It was heavy rain so the fuel consumption was pretty good as we couldnt go full out. I'll say full tank last us 1:15 to 1:30 but I think maybe 1 hour in dry condition? This is the first time the car did endurance racing and my first time in his car. So no real dry condition data becuae the next day when it was dry, the owner of the car went out and pushed the car hard but blow the clutch within the first 1 hour of the race. Therefore, we were done for the day because he didn't have a spare clutch with him.

The car owner is going to upgrade to a fuel cell hoping to get an ideal one tank to last 2 hours. If we can do that, we have a good chance of podium due to fewer fuel stops.

My first time attack at MRP in my CRX, had a hell of a time getting used to the V700's, but the tires did well once warmed up and the track was dry. Beat my goal time of 1:35 with a 1:28.007 so I'm happy with that. Blew the motor (stock y8) on the last session, as the times were falling, so currently building a high compression A6 bottom end to match up with the Y8 head. Looking forward to getting back out there!

do you think the y8 motor popped due to old age or is it just a bad design?

2018 Giants' Despair Hillclimb. I don't love this hill because the 1/4 uphill drag start, 4 turns, and steep dragstrip finish don't do my NA 1.8 any favors. Still TONS of fun though!

Nice elevation changes. Too bad there aren't many meaningful turns.

Videos and pictures don’t do it any justice (they don’t do ANY of the hills justice) but it is pretty darn steep. I think it’s like 800 ft over ~1 mile. Turn 2 (Devil’s Elbow) which is actually the first turn in my car , is pretty tricky to get right (I don’t think I ever have). T3-5 aren’t hard but sure are fun!

Managed to get 3 wins from 3 starts the class is a pretty interesting one with some really evenly matched cars. Essentially a stock EK9 with a gearkit and coilovers.

Yeah, I'm the local dealer for the Fortune Auto coilovers, I was pretty impressed with them, these are the base 500 series not even the swift spring upgrade

kit has been around for a few years. pricewise, i know the k20 version is $10k so id expect about the same. you would also need the shifter as well as a standalone system that can handle the load cut for shifting etc.
