Thanks guys... Boy a lot of people don't like the exhaust tip it would seem. I never thought it was too bad, I never liked those big "fart cans" and this tip seemed at least "closer" to what the original tip looked like...

What would be your suggestions for exhaust tip? Thanks!

What a beauty! Are those mirrors red stock? or have they been painted?

Very nice! I'm glad you kept it classy with only a few upgrades. I am an original owner of a 1991 Civic Hatchback DX and still driving it today, daily. I've added 17" rims, upgrade to SI seats, JDM console, steering wheel and OEM rear speaker pods. And Prelude fog lights. That's it. I get looks everywhere I drive especially from young kids. Probably 'cause they didn't expect an old fart as the driver. Took it to America's Tire for tire rotation. One of the mechanics there said he's never seen a cleaner Civic. Took it to the local Honda dealer and the mechanic there wanted to buy it from me. But it's me baby, since 1991.

I took your advice and installed new center caps in the wheels, I can't believe I've had these wheels for so long and never knew I could do this! $20 bucks for a set of 4, awesome!

Looks nice. Its crooked though. The valve stem is the bottom of the wheel and center cap should look like this. I got no room to talk though, cause every time I get my tires balanced they put 'em on wrong. I'm gonna start taking mine off before I get balanced next time. They scratched one a bit puttin it back in, too. The wheels definitely look classier with the H.

Oh dang I didn't even know that was the case! Luckily I am not OCD enough for it to bother me, maybe I will adjust them next time I do a rotation.

Yeah, I hear ya. I was OCD enough to care when I bought, cleaned and polished my wheels and purchased new centers. I'm not OCD enough to put 'em back correctly after the tire shop messed with my mojo. Anyway, lookin clean. I just looked back at a couple of your other posts and I think I like your black mirrors better than the newer body-matched ones. Mirrors are one of those things you need, but don't necessarily want them to stand out.

I agree I think I prefer the black mirrors as well.

For the exhaust tip, Magnaflow makes a stainless steel dual tip that is very close to our tip, and it's not too bad $$. I did that on my thermal, as I hate the grapefruit shooters. Don't make the mistake I did and get a Bosal dual tip - that started rusting within 6 months of being in a garage here in NJ - can't imagine what it would do in CO.

Car looks great; paint is amazing. One thing I would mention is that the hood shouldn't be resting on the VC. I'd look into thin hood spacers. Then you can see about giving that VC with some love on either a paint job, powdercoating, or hydrodipping. I'd choose powdercoating in wrinkle red, as your car is on the OEM side of the equation.

The lower exterior trim pieces on the door windows are still available new from Honda. I see yours are pealing badly. I would snap up a pair while you still can.

Is your windshield cracked? If so you should pick up the Honda rubber windshield trim as well because the aftermarket trim a glass installer will use will not look stock.
I have a very similar car and a very similar philosophy on modifications. Mine has working A/C that I could not live without. I have upgraded to Si wheels since these pictures were taken.
I wish I could find a set of good reproductions of the original floor mats with the civic logo.

WOW GeoMetry! What a nice looking hatch! Love the foglights they look so awesome! Thank you so much for those part numbers! I am going to buy the trim as mine in bad shape and the windshield is cracked. I was actually just talking to a windshield company the other day because I was worried about that old trim around it (it's been cracked for 14 years lol). You don't by chance have the part number for the windshield trim do you?

Thanks again!

Thanks for the tips! I am going to look into these exhaust tips. If you know of any writeups or videos on how to install hood spacers I would love to take a look, thanks again!

Excellent equipment and TOP notch customer service, big thumbs up from this guy!

(Note: I originally tried the innovative clutch conversion kit and it was GARBAGE, felt awful and broke after a year maybe?)
