Ok,
New tires mounted. Should be getting inspected here soon. Work is sending me out of state for a few days so I will be on the road sometime after that with her!
Car failed Inspection. Both Rockers have rust at rear.
Rear Trailing arm bushings 3/4 ripped.
Rear drum's are a bit squishy. I recently swapped the front to SS break lines, not sure if thats why the rear feel squishy but whatever. I found a rear disc swap I will be getting here soon, as well as new TA Bushings.
Rear Bumper Support/Reinforcement rusted out, all 4 12mm bolts rusted into the car and not connected to support. I found a used one at a yard for 75.00 hoping to pick that up this weekend!
Then Welding shop quote of 250 for rockers and rear rust repair, I should be about done...
Oh, and a minor exhaust leak.
I haven't forgot about you guys, just waiting on this money tree in the back yard to produce more dollars!
Since my trailing arm bushings were shot 3/4's of the way I decided to go with rear disc's since I had to pull the whole trailing arm.
So i found a swap from a 93 Del Sol on the ol' Craigslist. Complete with Ebrake lines and calipers.
I ordered new wheel bearings but when I pulled off the dust cover, the original bolts still had the factory paint marker on it.
I decided to hold off on wheel bearings and just add extended wheel lugs.
I just dropped my old rear trailing arms, and removed all bolts holding the cables into place around the gas tank.
Dont mind the rust on the rear, I plan on getting that welded and sprayed. Picked up a new bumper support that I have to clean up and refinish before attaching to bumper cover.
Now the fun part. Im a little unsure how to go about this part of the install.
Any suggestions/help would be greatly appreciated!!
