what side skirt everyone using with the abs plastic rear valance. picked up a set years ago but near found skirts i liked. i remember seeing some custom 2dr style skirts for the 4dr on ebay many years ago.

 

Hit the track a couple of weeks ago... finally got to see what the LSD and oil cooler could do on the DB.

kinda sucks that I didn't have a Go-Pro, I will next one though!

Back then a company tried to imitate the optional side skirts for the sedan, but not alot of stock. Now they are rare to see. Looked nice though and I first heard about it on team-integra.

 

Set up is pretty basic, B20 w/IHE, GSR trans w/LS 5th and Type R LSD. Suspension wise: Koni Str.t, Skunk2 springs, ES bushings all over, and Type R front and rear sway bars. Still working on getting a better suspension setup though.

The blue lines are the oil cooler lines.

 

Loving the color! Is that OEM paint? Although there's some clearcoat paint peeling, the rest of the paint can still be saved with a good buff/polish.

Also, I'm really digging the mirrors. Where did you source them? Custom base plate?

I'm barely working on my current 4DR RS... So far, I've only installed:
4x114.3 ITR conversion w/ extended studs and stock ITR wheels
949Racing open ended lugnuts
DB8 window visors
TEIN suspension off an EK Civic chassis (Front's are interchangeable but rear requires the rear LCA bushings to be shaved down for the EK Civic rear suspension strut to fit)
CDM airbag delete tray

Just preoccupied with other things and trying to save up for a GSR or ITR swap.

Still badly itching for a motorcycle tho

 

Thx man! The paint is OEM ABP (Adriatic Blue Pearl) Id really like to get it repainted though, the roof and rear 1/4 is rough, lol
I made the bases for the mirrors using a DC2 base plate. The mirrors are knock offs because i didnt want to spend the $$ for the experiment. Im actually working on making more but with an OEM DB base plate for a factory fitment.

I've always loved your DB, the color, the stance... I love it.
4x114 has been something ive wanted to do but i really like my wheels, lol

Is there build info for the 4drs? Like how many of each trim were produced each year? My theft recovery is nearing completion and I just looked and it's got a build date of July 93, lots of zeros in the vin. Would be cool to know I have one of the first hundred or so built.
