I need some help from the DB squad. My rear seat cushion is seaping with some kind of wet liquid with similar viscosity to oil. The had the far seat completely out to monitor where it could be coming from but with no luck. I’ve determined that it’s not coming from the trunk or any drain tubes from the sun roof. It almost seems like it is coming from the floor. It doesn’t make sense but I’m at a loss at the moment.

i think the only thing that is really under the seat there is the fuel pump, unless you have a huge hole in your chassis.

That foam soaked up something that spilled and was never cleaned up, thats the only thing I can think of. Dawn soap and warm water?

If the foam underneath is soaked with the same fluid, then chances are something spilled in the trunk and made its way under the seat. Clean the seat up and see if it reappears or increases in size.

In addition to all of the body/electrical work on my car right now, i have another small project i'm working on. I made a file for the wife's cricket cutter thingy, she'll be cutting this out on adhesive backed vinyl for me. I used the Microsoft word font that is really close to the Integra font with the exception of a couple of letters, and i made the other letters in photoshop.

I was trying to install my circuit hero spark plug cover and snapped off one of the skunk2 low profile valve cover hardware bolts in the friggin head!!! turns out I got bamboozled and was sent fake bolts. tried drilling it out even using a drill bushing inserted into the cam cap to guide a reverse drill bit dead center, nope, went up a size drill, nope, tried extractor and failed, next size up drill dug in and broke off inside the hollowed out bolt!!! we tried some more after that but I gave up.
I've figured I just need to remove the head and get a machine shop to fix it, which sucks because its a lot of labor, and probably around $250-300 just in gaskets and fluids, plus about $400 at the machine shop for the bolt removal, replacing a couple valve guides, new stem seals (again), and 3 angle valve job.
oof, so its just been sitting in my garage for a few months already, its just too hot to work on it, especially when its pretty much just for car meets and shows.

boutta pick up another DB just 'cause y'all got me itchin. The Integra hatch life is fine and all, but nothin' like 4 doors.
