my integra has a very light gas pedal. it's so sensitive that it's difficult to leave parking lots because the bump makes my foot bounce and tap the gas pedal which will make my car jump and sometimes buck hard. i don't have any play in the throttle cable and the throttle is nice and firm when you turn it by hand. i was wondering if theres any adjustments anywhere or anything i can ghetto rig to make the pedal a little stiffer?

 

The cable shouldn't be "tight" at closed throttle. There should be just a little play. Other than that, the throttle spring may be weak. You could probably rig another small spring to make it a bit stiffer. Or perhaps the ignition timing is a bit advanced, but I don't think that would make a significant difference on throttle response. I think stock idle is 750 plus or minus 50 on manual trans.
