Hey guys i have a 94 ex. the muffler is way to loud, i loved that when i was younger but now its just plain f. Ennoying. Lol cant even hear my thoughts. Can i get a real good silencer i should i get a new muffler, if so, what would be the most silence muffler out there plz help.

 

What setup do you have for an exhaust system as it sits now, no cat no resonator and a fart can?

Do you have a catalytic converter, B pipe with a resonator and then the over axle pipe with a muffler?

Does your muffler have a 3" or larger tail pipe? A lot of times you can quiet an exhaust just by reducing the tail pipe diameter back to stock size.

You really haven't given us much to go on here.

 

The most silenced would be the stock system and it sounds great and is made to last. Sound is power don't give it away.

Looks like a cheap muffler shop special exhaust. Probably most of the sound deadening is gone by now, making it loud and obnoxious.

You're gonna want a new muffler. There is a lot of good options out there if you still want something a little more aggressive than stock. An Apexi WS2 would be a great choice. Also, if you aren't running a resonator, I'd definitely add one.

 

The pipe had a few holes and it was cut right in half. Got that replaced and added a resonator. Now is way better hear mostly engine. The car is been sitting for like 3 yrs, btw i payed over $300 for that muffler a long time ago from a performance store guess i got ripped off then. Thanks guys. Btw car still has a problem when i **** around with the ign. Switch it starts, should i get it replaced? Also how much would it be to get it replaced a estimated.
