Well i paid too much for it because it was a Si veloz and i wanted it bad. Backyarder owned it so it was picked to death. Spent most of the time un-doing crap work. Had to replace struts, put in a floor and rockers, had to do timing belt and headgasket. Paint was 3 grand. Had to replace 70% of the interior. Basicaly 80% of the car is restored or replaced brand new. almost all the sensors have died and been replaced. Much much more stuff too
has 400000kms on it haha. next will be an engine rebuilt and restore the engine bay.
I kno its retarded but its one of two veloz'es in the city... Theres a few Reverbs but no vtec!

Oh I understand now LOL If its any consolation, a Veloz is a Veloz, very rare. I would've done the same thing.
its been so long since ive posted a picture. i havent been in the scene all that long, but definitely long enough to know who some of the real OGs are
these shots are from the 2016 eibach meet. the car looks a bit different now and im doing some other major modifications that ive been planning for a few years now
heres one with my buddy's sedan. he put a lot of time into the body work and i would definitely classify him as an expert in that regard. no bolt on flares here lol
now that my car is going under the knife for a while, i needed a suitable stock daily since the green one was slowly becoming un-daily-able. so i traveled north and brought back a piece of canada with me to serve as the new commuter car

man, u got no idea who the true og's are if you werent a member of the 7thgen forums back in 2001-2007 which were the good days. grey and his DIYs, so many other people. those were the good days uh toyomatt?
I would definitely say that the feeling of community has changed since back when people were posting up new car pictures on almost a daily basis. I've had the great fortune to meet a ton of the older members over the years... and even had great conversations with members lost (RIP 1llmatic, hard to believe that its almost been a decade since he passed).

just because i wasnt around the 7thgen scene during that era doesnt mean i dont know who they are. i dont know a lot of them personally, but ive done plenty of reading on civicforums and hondatech from threads over a decade old to catch up on 7thgen information. me and my brother would always browse the integra section of honda tech everyday back in like 2005/2006 when stores like superautobacs in LA were the places to be and the forums were as active as facebook/twitter are today. your sentiment towards my statement seems a bit silly to be honest. thats like saying you had to grow up in the 80s to know who/what was popular at the time...doesnt make much sense now does it?

the issue with the internet is you cant see my body language or the tone on how i would have said what i said. but by "attacking" me i believe you are young and naive so take it how you want it millennial.

you made a false claim and i refuted it with evidence and personal anecdote. how is disproving your statement an attack on you? i dont see any use of ad hominem in my post, just a simple response to allegations...so take it how you want it.

I love the green one Canadian Acura EL's are my favorite I drive a 4DR sedan have the same clover green pearl color did a lot to it you can see my car under 04 05 rear end conversion. Black one looks good also it will have the black leather with front heated seats just as mine. I am looking to find the front end but its hard as its only available in Canada. But will keep on trying. Nice rides man.
