Trying to figure out the best brand of wheel bearings for our cars? Couldn't find any Moogs anywhere. And that's pretty much the only quality brand that I know of lol. I've got a 94 EH2 does anybody have any experience in this field? I just replaced both front wheel bearings like three months ago, and one if not both has already gone out. I bought some cheapos from O'Reilly' and I don't want to go the cheap right again. Any help or opinions?

OEM, Timken, or do some research and find out the bearing supplier for Honda and buy directly from the manufacturer


I don't know if Moog makes bearings.

 

Timken is $35 each from rockauto before the 5% discount code and shipping. I paid double that for the same thing from the dealer.

 

Timken for Honda applications are reboxed Koyo or NTN bearings. The bearings are stamped "KOYO" or "NTN" and "Japan". Box says "Made in Japan".

The OEM wheel bearings Honda uses are mostly made by NTN. You can get them in NTN boxes for cheaper than Honda boxes. Another brand Honda uses for OEM is Koyo.
