Hey guys i am looking for a idler pulley assembly including both that and the alternator bracket for the d16z6 jrsc kit
as ive already tried my luck contacting MOSS and MERCRACING with no luck
even CAD designes would suffice and the other parts are yet still available and i can just assemple buying the pulleys and hardware
ive searched for a couple weeks sent emails out into the beyond with no luck
Everyone,
when i purchased my kit about 6 years ago the support bracket was missing so i ordered one from Moss racing which created this kit. when i went to install it i learned that i had an older kit without the mounting point on the alternator bracket. so after that i installed the kit and have loved it ever since, but i completely forgot about the support bracket. i recently found it so i decided to make use of the tools i have at my disposal. Here is detail drawings of the support bracket all measure from the original bracket from Moss Racing Enjoy!!
ALSO IF ANYONE ELSE HAS THE OTHER BRACKETS LAYING AROUND, PLEASE JUST GRAB A PIECE OF PAPER AND TRACE THE OUTLINE OF THEM. I WOULD BE WILLING TO DO THE SAME THING FOR THOSE. I DO NOT WANT TO SEE THIS KIT DYE.
The first link says it won't work with aftermarket kits such as the Jackson Racing kit. I think you can buy the coupler and oil separate. I've used Moss in the past to buy replacement parts www.supercharger.com. I'm not sure if they have the coupler but you could check.

Thanks for the heads up I missed the bottom part where it said not compatible with Jackson Racing. I checked Moss and I couldn't find coupler but they still sell the oil.

Go to page 15 for pictures. Also, that same website sells that bracket for like, $10.
051-108 $10.99 Alternator Stabilizer Bracket
This is no longer available at Moss. Is this piece crucial to prevent belt slippage and to properly align the alternator? Does anyone know the size or have a blue print of it? If I can't find one I might have to get one fabbed but I need the dimensions
So picked up a used kit the other day, getting Put on a more or less stock em1, I'd like to do a header and possibly exhaust before I get it out on. The only recommendation for a header I've read is a Kamikaze with I can't find used/eBay etc... is there any current header everyone recommends or just something 4 to 1 with a 2.5" collector
and sorry for all the questions here, I just got my kit today and now looking at the blower pulley it appears to be very small like 3.2" give or so. I'd like 8-9 psi so I'm guessing this will be way to small of a pulley (stock b16 no stepper pulley) and would need something along the lines of a 3.8 correct?

If you want 8-9 psi on a stock B16A with a JRSC, you will need to get a 4.0" blower pulley. The 3.8" blower pulley will make 10-11 psi.

Drove her around the block today for the first time in years since I decided to install the JRSC. Drove like **** so I've a few problems to diagnose and resolve. But, she drove. So, that's cool.
