People are swapping K's into s2000's. shouldn't be hard to use that setup in the s10. You could also use a GM tranny that has a removable bell housing. Then it's as simple as a custom bell housing and a K clutch with GM splines.

Your best bet is to take a bare block and have it digiltized, if your using someone elses measurements they could be off and you wouldnt know untill you had it prototyped out of ABS or you just ran one on the machine, both wouldnt be too cheap to waste.

 

Thats the way I would go and how I did this a few times. Just my luck that I have a huge 3D measuring machine at work.....
There are also many companies out there to do this for you.

Other option, maybe you have a local machine shop that you know... you could just put in on milling machine and let the machine measure. Most modern machines can do this digitally... some old ones have analog options for this. It just takes a bit more time and thought then with a 3D measuring machine.

 

There is a guy on YouTube that sells an adaptation kit for a K to a Chevy transmission for less than a 1000.
still have a lot of other things to do if HP is in your future. Stock would not be hard with a standard trans. computer and harness. Lot of work for 250hp in the same would probably last forever in a lite body like a s10. 90s Chevy v8s stock couldn't produce that much power but had twice the torque. 6 in one hand 1/2 a dozen in the other. Still think putting a turbo K24 10K and you could have a 600-800HP monster but not a street car. Still think you could find a nice medium would be cool and different from every v8 swapped s10 jeep 32 ect. Cool idea I would fallow a build on that.

 

what you need is a cad drawing.. I only got a b series at the moment.

 

problem with an adapter is the requirement for a custom clutch as well. i've done an rx8 engine to a mk2 mr2 trans. what a pain.
