Default civic eg - cluster lights don't work but climate control lights and taillights do

Hello everyone I have a 93 civic lx sedan and the gauge cluster recently stopped illuminating. I have searched around on forums but I can't find any fixes. This is mainly because their clusters just don't work or all lights don't work. The problem I have is that the lights that illuminate behind all my dials don't work anymore, but all of my little status lights all work when I turn the car on. The gauge cluster also works just fine it just will not light up and it's very irritating. I may also add in that I recently installed a stereo but I'm not sure if that could have messed with the cluster lights at all. The dimmer works as well. Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Do the taillights/parking lights work?

hmm I'm not sure what fuse it is? do you know what number? also the tail lights/ parking lights work. I also flipped all the bulbs twice just to make sure it wasn't polarity.

There isn't a separate fuse. If the tail lights work the next thing to check is the dimmer control. Pry the control out of the dash and unplug it. Jumper the solid red wire to the solid black one in the plug. The dash lights should now be fully bright when you turn the light switch on. If that works, the control is bad, replace it.

Test whether the cluster connector gets voltage on the red dimmer switch wire.

It is possible for all the bulbs to be burnt out. There are only two or three of them. Bulbs are easily replaced from the back after taking the cluster out of the car. Really there isn't much to go wrong with the lighting system of the cluster itself other than burnt out bulbs.

Power for the cluster lights comes from the Red/Blk wire in connector B, pin B11. Check for voltage there.

Also make sure the red lead at cluster plug, [not sure what pin/plug it is] has a "selectable" ground coming from the Dash Lights Brightness Controller, ["dimmer" control is for the hi/low beams]. 94

On my older hondas it is very common for the hvac light bulbs to fail first before the gauge lights fail. Most likely just need to replace the bulbs
