Used some dry ice to strip out the sound deadening crap. It's a pain in the *** to get the bits around the drain plugs off. The glue doesn't lift off easily like the rest of the deadener. Still need another session to finish the car.

I'd be looking for about 14k. That Example was beautiful. Although, I wasn't aware they made SiR's without a sun roof..

A quick search on JP-Carparts shows that some SiR's didn't have Sunroofs. Learn something knew everyday. Which means that car didn't have LSD from the factory, like mine does.

Looking good Manny! I loved doing that on my car, was a good way of getting out some aggression. I would say to leave the dry ice in a while around the drain plugs, then use a metal hammer; the deadening should crack and lift off in a couple of whacks.

thanks man! I'm going to try that today. I'll let the dry ice sit on there while I clean other parts of the floorboard with goo gone.

I'll post more pics when I'm done cleaning it

DA everything. Axles, midshaft and knuckles/brakes.

Funny, I had the same set of autozone axles when I was sohc for about 8 years without an issue.

I was just thinking of getting a tri-y for some more oomf. I guess if I stay with stock cams I'll just stick with the itr manifold.

Also test fit my new Rays 57DR 15x8 4x100 +35. They clear my Wilwoods, so I'm stoked!

good looking wheels! by the way, a cheap alternative for removing the sound deadening residue is kerosene. my floorpan cleaned up really well with just that

I forgot to post progress here. Had a 4-point welded in by Whitfield, plus the seat mount, and the dyno tune.

Joined HFF Challenge and ran the car at Buttonwillow on March 5th. It was a good shake down/learning experience.
