this area is what i mean. the rusty thread in the center, that's the part i had to adjust to make the handle function 100%. i twisted the piece that rides those threads upward so it was about flush with the threads. then it would work. obviously you have to have that part disconnected from the handle.

Pull out my automatic pedals on my 97 coupe. got ready to put in the manual set but the rain had other plans.
have to ask, anyone know which to put in first, the clutch pedal, or put the gas/brake in then put in clutch?
Re: Tell Us What You Did To Your EG/EK/Del Sol Today
It doesn't matter dsol.
As for me, i got an appointment to drop my car off and get it painted. Gotta scuff the bay and remove the lights, bumpers, etc. Went ahead and called hmotorsonline.com, ordered a new sir lip w/hardware and picked up a at of thin moldings.

Doesn't matter. they're a bitch either way, but the clutch pedal is easier.

Pretty excited.
Along with the lip and thin moldings, I ordered both belt moldings and a new H emblem for the hood, right now Im trying to find a decent deal on the clips for the door panels and looking into if I wanna reupholster my current door panels. Each panel takes 18 dang clips...
When I removed the rear bumper I found a bit more rust, so that kinda worried me.
After I get the car strippedt he rest of the way, i have to have the glass come remove the windows and ****, then I think were dropping it off tomorrow w/the paint shop.

Bought a 98 Civic EX for my wife. 250K, needs headgasket. but runs and drives. used rockauto to price all the parts to get it running and back on the road.
