HI there,
I own a 2000 Integra GS. I swapped my b18b1 to a b18c1 but kept the old transmission. The way V-Tech is set up is by a wire directly to the ECU. I want to know what wire harness do I need to make it look all professional? I'm trying to make the engine bay look clean. Can you help me out?

gsr engine harness is what youre after. or deloom the gs harness, and incorporate the vtec wire for a more oem look. all depends on your skill level!

I agree with reptar. The other option is to purchase a rywire harnes which will really clean up your engine bay.

theyre spendy though. for about the same trouble as removing oem and installing rywire, you can just reloom yours in a more hidden place and get that diy feeling. or maybe that's just me

I have the same feeling. I make my own wire harnesses and conversion harnesses for all the cars I've ever had. I'm not sure what the experience of the user that posted the question was. That's the only reason I'm suggesting possibly a tYwire harness.

Karl,

Are the injectors hi or low impedance? to check use an ohm meter and check the resistance between the 2 pins on the injectors.
Make sure you have have reference voltage at the injector wire plug, 12v for high impedance and 3.5 volts for low impedance.
Are you sure its your injectors? Do you have fuel pressure? does. the fuel pump cycle when you turn the key

Rough cold start can be caused by many things: Vacuum leak, clogged iacv screen, Bad fast idle valve, incorrect timing.

Does the car idlest all? or is it just a surging idle?

Make sure you are reading the ECU plug correctly also

C8 would be the 4th wire in from the left on the bottom rowwith the connector release button facing and lookin in at the wire side of the plug.

In the picture above it looks to be a green wire located between the red/white and green/white wires.

Where is the red wire that is cut located??

If this happened after some moved the distributor, was the vehicle timing reset?

That I was thinking to the green one but I won't need that green one? The red wire that is cut is away from the ecu I'll take pics b4 work. And the dizzy was so high facing passager that's how high it was

ok so im not sure if your still watching this post but here goes...
I have a 92 teg rs and put in a 95 gsr b18c1
i kept the under dash harness of the 92 and wired up vtec independently
it was running fine till i blew the main relay. now the 92 harness runs a 7 pin relay but the 95 is supposed to have 2 separate relays. 1 for fuel & 1 for ignition.
SO... heres my questions.... is there a performance difference between the 2 methods? And if there is then how (wire color codes) can i splice the 2 where there used to be 1?

This might be a long shot, but
Currently looking for the 91 dpfi ecu wiring diagram. Not looking to swap, just looking to see where some other wires go.

2001 Uk Honda Civic Brake light/ Starting issues
Hi i've got brake light bulbs that are glowing excessively when the lights are switched on and negligably registers the brake pedal when its applied .. Could this be a faulty column switch ??(How to check?)Head lamps are fine ... Are there lighting relays for the rear lights (left and right)?? .. I'm also having starting issues I was wondering if there was a main relay for the whole car ..(Where is it ?? )... Many thanks
