I personally would replace the harness to avoid the headaches. If you do decided to match everything up and fix it, then make sure you solder and heatwrap it correctly. You wouldn't want to have to trace back all you steps and find the one wire that could have been done wrong. Good luck

Definitely, if it's all hacked just replace the cabin harness. It'll be much easier in the long run and you won't end up wanting to
yourself trying to rewire it all.

Replace it. I almost killed myself when I had to rewire a whole harness on a car (it was not a honda, it was a LS1 into a 3rd gen camaro, I still have nightmares).
