96-00 VTEC wires
Hi all,
I was wondering if the 2 VTEC wires from the ECU to the shock tower on the 96-00 D-series vtec are the same colour as the 5th gen with Orange/White and Orange/Blue?
I've not had the pleasure of looking at the 6th gen's or ripping into them.
I'm also assuming the ECU and the shock tower plug are in the same spots on both generations. Would like to nab another set of stock wires and vtec motors are much more common in the yard in the 6th gen. Can never find a 5th gen vtec motor in the yard ever it seem.
Any info would be kind.
Looking at the FSM hasn't proven very helpful.

There is no break at the shock tower on the passenger side... the wiring goes all the way into the cabin and terminates at the ECU plugs. Colors are GRN/YEL for the solenoid and BLU/BLK for the pressure switch... as noted in the diagrams posted above by RonJ.
I noticed that in the FSM and wasn't sure if that was or was not the case.
Thanks for that.
I think my best bet is to look for 92's since they had the vtec wires to the shock tower stock regardless of the engine.
Cheers and thanks guys.
