Re: Tell Us What You Did To Your EG/EK/Del Sol Today
Replaced the upper ball joints today. only to find out you really shouldn't and just replace the upper control as unit.
The ball joints fit right, but the included c-clip does not fit, and is VERY loose. I tried a few different c-clips to no avail... Not sure If I can trust them. not to mention the boots don't fit worth a ****.

Probably going to order OEM UCA's on Monday.
I've been eye balling these for over a year now and can find em on amazon.com

Thought my trans was done, but i might have other issues awesome.
New synchrotech master carbon rebuild kit, pic 4.7 final, and new 2,3,4 mainshaft and 3,4 counter gears (new from honda)... has hard time shifting into 1,2,4,5 on the work bench.
Re: Tell Us What You Did To Your EG/EK/Del Sol Today
Went to aim wife's headlights on her 93 Hatch last night and only the drivers side would adjust completely.
Today tore apart the passenger light lens and fixed the adjuster plastic nut housing with some bondic. The part that prevented the nut from spinning while still allowing the nut to pivot had been compressed in and no longer grabbed the nut. Bondic filled the divots to prevent spinning and I was able to aim the lights tonight.
Aimed them a little low but with the 6K color LED H4 lights, being nice to other drivers and they still are pointed much higher than they were. Previous Owner obviously didn't know what they were doing as they were pointed to the ground way to far.
Also found out they are not OEM lenses or lens brackets so I get to do this again soon.
Hoping the OEM reflectors are better than these after market ones as there is some dim spots with the lights.

Gotta call synchrotech Monday ;(
I have heard that the carbon synchros should be soaked in oil before installation, but I doubt that's your problem since they essentially do nothing when the gears aren't spinning. How do your shift sleeves look?

They don't really look that special.......
Maybe I should have selected the smoked colored ones......or maybe I just got what I paid for.
Switch to the orange color bulbs, it helps the look immensely in my opinion.
I'll get you the bulb number I used tonight when I bounce to Canadian Tire. Even when not flashing, it looks better in my opinion.
I just removed these and installed my new head lights so I don't have a picture for you, but swapping bulbs is fast and cheap so it won't cost you much to see for yourself.

As promised, photo's of the BA15D bulbs that work perfectly in the front signals. And as an added bonus, my new headlight lenses have pretty much the same clear signal light reflector/lens setup as your clear lens corners. I took a pic so you can see how the orange bulb adds character to the plain clear and silver reflector setup:
Took some time tonight and aimed my headlights, now both the projector low beams and the regular reflector high beams are aimed properly after my recent headlight install.

Suja1 works about to be cheaper, and their customer service is bad ***.
As as heads up, if you buy from PIC make you email/call them first. They use flat rate shipping, and shipping ends up to be $50 which is incorrect. They will send you an invoice with the correct amount for your zip
To keep with the thread.
I got both FLCA's done, as soon as I press in the uppers and new wheel bearings the front goes back together.
Still waiting on my ASR before I dig into the rear.

Oh wow, okay, I never noticed that. I was trying to figure out where you could get PIC anymore as when I went looking for the 5th gen PIC bushings, seemed like they weren't available.

Thanks for that.
Xenocron say's I have to put in an order but they haven't told me if they have it in stock, unless they order it upon receiving an invoice on an order. I also contact PIC as well and they told me that they have 1 avail if the invoice isn't fulfilled by Tuesday. So I'm keeping my hopes up. This will go nicely with my suspension setup, type r springs koni yellow adjustables, rear ls integra swaybar setup.

A few pictures. About half way done, I still want to paint everything though. I did run into a issue with the toe compensator arms and well bent one. So I'm probualy going to just **** it and buy some SPC pieces.
