Thanks AZCRXSI

Had to make a new downpipe due to the Innovative Mounts traction bar being in the path of the original peakboost civic/integra 3 inch downpipe. I cut up the down pipe to make use of both bends if needed and bought a 45 degree bend to clear the traction bar.

Took apart my distributor today and cleaned up/replaced the coil, igniter, rotor and cap today. Everything went according to plan and he is up and running again. But I noticed an oil leak towards the front/center of the motor. Wondering if the oil pan gasket finally went… Minor setback…

Here is my 91 SI i picked up in North Carolina back in 2012. Hasn't been thru much since then because as you can tell im back home in Hawaii and this place sucks for getting parts shipped etc. Not to mention we have strict modification laws here. So I have enjoyed just driving it. Aside from my previous car (91 integra rs) this is the best yet. My friend also agrees as he has a 91 Si himself he just picked up and hes owned almost all the honda chassis there is. I hope to post more frequently since I am moving to Cali in the summer.....Im excited as hell to ship this badboy in the coming years. For now i will hoard parts. Anyways this is a "what did you do to your ef" thread and all i did the day was change out my intake manifOld studs with some extended studs from inline4 as i installed a hondata 5mm spacer to compliment my skunk2 IM. B series in crxs r too much fun.

Took off the Oem hood latch system in preparation for the aerocatch system

Everything is in place... Or this is what I have so far, please tell me if something is wrong.
1990 Dx hatch. I have already the LS tranny and motor sitting in it,
Also the 1990 Da (Acura integra) Ecu plunged in... I'm in search of the si harness witch I think is the only thing I'm missing to fire this motor up. Please tell me if this would work out!?????
I still have the sohc harness... But I'm thinking with the Si harness this should work out I hope.

This is my first post so hello all. Being my 1st post I'll play catch up of work done this week.
Day 1:
valve Adjustment

Day 2:
Oil change
Trans fluid change
Brakes bled
Ignition timing set
Replaced ground terminal to battery
Replaced chassis to valve cover ground wire,

Day 3today)
Still had a rough idle so I figured time for sparkplugs. Went to the local auto parts and picked'em up and installed them in the parking lot. After test driving for a few I got some Wendy's drive thru and. Once I parked I heard a boiling sound. Upon opening my driver door I see a rush of coolant coming from my engine. Upon further diagnosis, the coolant bypass hose on the back of the intake had a swollen blowout on the lower end of the hose. I refill the rad with a gallon water jug I happen to have in the car and gingerly drove back to the auto parts place and ended up with a fuel line in place of the short bypass hose until I can get the correct hose. I'll be bleeding the cooling system tomorrow. I have done alot of other maintenance and repairs but it is difficult to get correct parts for a Frankenstein of a motor.
Here is What I know of it so far
89 Civic DX (sohc non-vtec)
The block is stamped ZC(also has a row of numbers but they are not engine codes)
I will check the head codes tomorrow
It has DPFI(I'm guessing that it's factory)
Automatic transmission

Started stripping out the interior yesterday. Next step is using dry ice to remove the sound deadener in preparation for the cage.

I haven't really done anything in a while since I imported my 90 EF9 SiR, but I did manage to get it out of the garage and drive it today so I'll call that a win.

Thanks man. It is in pretty good shape. Everything is going to be wrapped in cling wrap and stored away for a bit. But I'll probably sell it off soon.

Thanks!

Driver side axle is already popping. Thanks Autozone!

Next is b20v conversion (high comp b20b is already in there) with a b16 head, gsr cams and itr intake manifold/tb.

Not sure if I should bother with some nice cams or header. Currently rocking a '96 jdm itr header.

This is my daily that sees 500 miles a week with my work commute.

eek... The infamous AutoZone axle. RockAuto has new axles (I believe) was around $65 shipped. Something to consider depending on WHICH axle you are running.

Tough to play when you are doing that kind of mileage and its your daily. Why swap out the header? The '96 ITR should be close to enough, no?
