rods and pistons don't match up
as you can see there's barely any slack for the rod to maneuver around while connected to the piston. so the question is what should i do next to addressed this problem? should return the pistons and get an oem spec one, or should i order the correct spec rods that would fit the CTR pistons? then there's the other option where i could just order a new sets of rods and just shave it down enough to have clearance. i'm not even sure if the last option is a viable option or not. i need guidance! and sorry for the oversize pic. i don't know how to thumbnail these pics on this site yet.
Find a friend with a surface grinder or vertical mill . . . surface grinder if you really care what the surface finish is or vertical mill if you don't. All you really need is a little more clearance.
Just make sure whoever is cutting them weight matches the set with however much they take off of each one.
