Hi, so I have a b18b1 and I was going to replace the head gasket when I noticed this. On the right side of my cylinder head near the valves. Some of the coolant passages were welded shut and I was just wondering why someone would have done this? My guess is it's cracked underneath so they welded it to keep it together. Any help or ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.
