I have a 97hx with a d16vtec and it's on its last leg.

I can't find a motor for the money I'm trying to spend.

I did find a d15 VTEC so my question is can I swap the d16v for the d15v without allot of modification?

Cuz if I am going to have to do allot of modification I think I'll just save and get a bigger motor so it is worth the time money and aggravation

so any suggestions

Rebuild the y5.

There is no modification required to swap in another d series, it is all wiring. Would you rather have the car down for a month for a good rebuild and everything work, or spend a weekend swapping the motor and having to drive a car that is an electrical mess and doesn't run right

Hint - don't cut corners. Find another good d16y5.
