What's the difference between your C419 pinout and the service manual diagram pinout?

 

it doesn't show the details, just the color.

it doesnt show where the wire goes

example


starter
vss
tach signal
ecu power
etc..

 

Where did you find those diagrams that you have? I've never been able to find the pinouts of the junction connectors for 92-95 Civics.

And did you look up C302? That's what C419 connects to. I have a list of what components this connectors goes to, just not broken down by wire colour.

If necessary, you could verify or refute hunches about where each wire goes by doing continuity tests.

These diagrams are in the online version of the USDM/CDM manual. I just .... in all the time I've spent poring over this manual over the past 8 years, I've never scrolled to the last two pages where this pinout diagram is. Amazingly, this info isn't contained anywhere else, not even in the Electrical Troubleshooting Manual. Welp, you learn something new every day.

EDIT: I also see errors in that diagram. E.g., C420 is not a 20-pin connector. So, OP, take heed.

 

It much easier to find them with the hard copy. They tend to fall out of the back of the manual.

So no need to upload any copies then?

The mentioned available online versions of the diagrams are low/poor resolution, so it would be awesome if you wouldn't mind creating high resolution versions of the hard copy electrical diagrams you have.

C418 connects to C301, and C419 connects to C302. At least, according to other pages in the Helms (eg., see OP's first post). So, that diagram is off, sadly.

What this means is that OP should be looking at C420 in the diagram, since this is actually C419 and it is mislabelled. (Additionally, I know that C301/C418 is a brown connector, while C302/C419 is grey, as in OP's pic.)

Anyway, here are the components that both C301/C418 and C302/C419 connects to (from 1994 ETM):
